Our Drying Process

The Tuft Aide Advantage

One great advantage of using Tuft Aide, is the ability to dry your room or structure “without tearing your building apart!” Such is the case on 82% of the category 1 projects we complete.

What does this mean to you?

You’re back in your space in a shorter time frame, a 33% - 50% cost reduction is not unusual, and you can relax knowing that the job was done professionally. Our process normally takes 3 – 4 days to complete.

How many other companies actually dry buildings?

In most cases our competitors are still using technology out of the 70’s. A demolition crew removes the drywall from your walls and ceilings, as well as the carpet and pad from your floors. Once the area is stripped down to the studs, drying equipment is brought in to dry the exposed walls, ceilings, and floors. When the space is determined dry, a construction crew is brought in to replace the damage caused by the demolition. This process will often take from 1 to 8 weeks to complete.

With today’s technology, in most situations, this method is simply not necessary!
